Having served in the Arizona State Legislature from 2017-2023, Cesar Chavez provided an integral voice to the legislative institution. Throughout his tenure, Chavez focused on attracting commerce and employment to the State of Arizona, participating in many conversations that have led to the state's economic successes over the years, including Intel's expansion and Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co.'s investment.

Doing so, he was considered the voice of reason amongst his colleagues, bringing together two divided caucuses to find common sense and pragmatism within good policy. This method of leadership gave fruition to Arizona's historic $14 billion budget passed in the 2022 legislative session, the first bipartisan state budget in almost half a century.

Before serving in the legislature, Chavez was a staffer in both the House of Representatives and the State Senate. He is an international political analyst invited on major media networks to talk about numerous policy issues. Chavez also serves on several non-profits that range from mental health focus to community advocacy.

Luis Acosta is a seasoned political strategist, resilient Dreamer, and DACA recipient with a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Loras College in Dubuque, Iowa, and a Master’s in Legal Studies from the University of Arizona. For more than a decade, he has delivered victories and shaped policy from local school boards to presidential races.

In 2020, Luis served as Arizona State Director for Mike Bloomberg’s presidential campaign, building one of the most sophisticated operations in the country. Following the election, he played a pivotal role in defending democracy at state legislatures across the U.S., countering efforts to undermine the results and protecting the integrity of the vote.

Luis’s experience spans leadership roles with Stand for Children and the Arizona Chamber of Commerce, and he has been a driving force behind winning campaigns at every level of government. A regular voice on KTAR, he offers sharp, real-time insight on the issues shaping Arizona. Grounded in his roots and relentless in his approach, Luis knows how to turn strategy into victory — and victory into lasting change.
